The ANIC family of high performance network adapters are integrated by Accolade’s OEM customers into a wide variety of Packet Processing Applications. In all such applications, ANIC products act as a co-processing unit to offload Host MPUs enhancing performance of the associated Network Appliance. ANIC product architecture is supported by feature rich firmware found in Accolade’s FPGA based Advanced Packet Processor (APP). ANICs are deployed in applications which include Network Monitoring, Intrusion Detection Systems, Network Forensics, Application Acceleration, Video Streaming and SIEM Flow Generators.  ANICs feature a sophisticated timing sub-system that enables synchronization to a variety of Network Time Sources and Time Stamp of captured packets to a resolution of 10 nS.  This feature of the ANIC family of products also enables applications in Network Latency Measurement particularly in Trading Systems Infrastructure.  These and other ANIC based applications are illustrated in this Section.
