Accolade Introduces ANIC-20K2 advanced dual 10 GigE Packet Processing adapter.
Brockton, MA, April 20, 2011 – Accolade Technology, Inc. today introduced the ANIC-20K2, its next generation Dual 10 GigE SFP+ based Packet Processing Adapter featuring 8-Lane PCIE Gen 2 implementing DDR3 DRAM enabling line rate 20 Gbps lossless packet capture and processing.
At the core of the ANIC-20K2 is Accolade’s Advanced Packet Processing (APP) firmware implemented in a State of the Art FPGA. The APP enables advanced Host Offload processing functions which include RMON Statistics, Packet Filtering, Packet Slicing, Packet De-duplication, Packet Re-Ordering and Hash based Load balancing. The ANIC-20K2 includes standard features such as serial 1 PPS and integrated IEEE-1588 V2 support.
The ANIC-20K2 performs Time Stamp based Packet Re-ordering between multiple adapters without Host CPU intervention. This unique capability enables the deployment of Network Monitoring and Packet Aggregation systems with support for up to eight 10 GE Interfaces.

Target applications for the adapter include high density RMON, Security (IDS, IPS and DPI), Latency Measurement and Video Capture/Distribution Appliances.
