Accolade announces enhanced dual 10 GigE packet processing adapter, the ANIC-20KL
Mansfield, MA, November 15, 2011 – Accolade Technology, Inc. today announced the availability of its next generation scalable 10 GE advanced packet processing adapter, the ANIC-20KL. The ANIC-20KL which succeeds Accolade’s popular ANIC-20K2 leverages the benefits of State-of-the-art FPGA technology, offering lower cost, lower power consumption, larger capacity to accommodate enhanced features and unprecedented customization. In addition, the ANIC-20KL introduces a ruggedized design for deployment in demanding TEMs (Telecommunications Equipment Manufacturers) environments requiring tolerances to physical shock, vibration and wide operating temperature ranges.
The ANIC-20KL is a Dual 10 GigE, PCI-E Gen2 adapter that performs lossless packet capture, processing and delivery across the PCIE Bus at full line-rates of 20 Gigabits/sec. The ANIC-20KL features Accolade’s next generation APP (Advanced Packet Processor) firmware which includes features such as precise time stamping, packet filtering, packet classification, packet reordering, hash-based load-balancing and integrated IEEE-1588 support.
