Mansfield, MA, January 02, 2013 – Accolade Technology, a leading developer of high density, FPGA based packet processing adapters today announced the appointment of Nick Balboni as Director of Operations. Balboni, an accomplished executive in OEM technology operations, manufacturing and project management will spearhead Accolade’s growing manufacturing and operations team.

More recently, Nick was Director of Operations for SBS Technologies, (Nasdaq:SBSE) which was acquired by G.E. Fanuc in 2006. Nick successfully lead a world class manufacturing operation for SBS. Through his Six Sigma team he achieved unparalleled productivity, cost savings and on-time product delivery for the SBS Communications Group managing revenues of over $75 million. Prior to his role at SBS, Nick was Director of Manufacturing for SDL Communications a leader in Wide Area Network interfaces and protocol software. Nick joined SDL after a career at Motorola Corporation where he was Director of Manufacturing Operations. Nick successfully managed engineering support and planning for Motorola’s high volume router and cable modem business where he achieved the highest Six Sigma level in the manufacturing process.
