Block/Allow List Processing
Security and network monitoring functionality are a staple of the Accolade Technology feature list. Accolade recently introduced a market leading FPGA implementation of black/white list processing that can accommodate a list with up to 200 million entries at 100Gbps processing speeds. Details are available here.
With black/white list processing suspicious network traffic is stopped in its tracks at 100Gbps speeds making the solution appropriate for large enterprise, government, or service provider networks. The FPGA capability is available on all Accolade ANIC adapters, ATLAS Service Nodes and Xilinx Alveo cards. Suspicious source IP addresses can be preloaded or dynamically updated by the host (e.g., authentication gateway, firewall, IPS) and each time the offending IP is seen appropriate action is taken before any damage can be done. The range of actions includes dropping the packet or forwarding to a security analysis tool for further inspection.
