Dual 100G Adapter Provides Hardware Based Classification of Up to 32 Million IP Flows
Flow classification enables high levels of performance, scalability and precision that is required in sophisticated network monitoring and security applications. The Third Generation Dual 100G ANIC-200Ku Adapter provides flow classification and flow shunting capabilities enabling up to 32 million unique (based on 3 or 5-tuple) IP flows to be tracked without missing or altering a single packet.
Security features such as blacklist matching or inline deep packet inspection (Inline DPI) allow individual flows to be programmatically forwarded to the CPU, dropped or re-directed.
Use Cases
- Inline Deep Packet Inspection (Inline DPI) – Flow classification can be used as a mechanism to selectively drop unwanted flows in live network traffic.
- Blacklist Matching – Flow classification can be used to drop or block known bad IP addresses (IPv4 or IPv6).
