NetFlow/IPFIX Exporter with Alveo

We recently introduced our solution for NetFlow/IPFix export using a Xilinx Alveo Accelerator Card. With this powerful combination, customers and OEM vendors can now easily build and deploy a flow exporter. Xilinx Alveo U50

Capturing flow records is an important monitoring function in computer networks and the de-facto standard format is NetFlow/IPFix. In some cases, switches or other devices in the network can output NetFlow records. However, there are often points in the network where records are not available or perhaps must be output in another format. In this case, a standalone Flow Exporter appliance is very useful and with the Accolade plus Xilinx combination the OEM vendor only has to supply the requisite software; leaving all the hardware and advanced packet processing responsibilities to the Accolade FPGA code. Flow export software is also readily available from trusted third parties such as ntop.
